On March 6, 2013 at around 10:00 PM a man negligently driving a Ford Ranger turned the wrong way onto Highway 54 in Columbia, Missouri and ran into another vehicle driven by Chelsea Frederickson, 19 of Camdenton, Missouri. Frederickson's passenger was taken to a University Hospital in Columbia and treated for his catastrophic injuries, Unfortunately, Chelsea's injuries were fatal. Police say that alcohol may be the reason the man in the Ford Ranger was driving the wrong way on the highway. Drunk driving accidents are one of the leading causes of wrongful deaths.
