Girl From Mizzou Killed In Wrong-way Car Crash

University of Missouri-Columbia college student Emily Ferguson was killed on Friday in Callaway County when her car was traveling the wrong-way down Interstate 70 and she collided head-on with Charles Mills. Charles Mills of St. Peters was rushed to University of Missouri Columbia and is listed in fair condition. The box truck Mills was driving hit Ferguson's Nissan head-on in Kingdom City and caused catastrophic injuries to Emily which led to her death. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Ferguson was not wearing her seat belt at the time of the motor vehicle accident. Police are still investigating why Ferguson was traveling the wrong-way down Interstate 70 at 3:17 a.m.
