Russell Barnes was traveling eastbound on County Road 404 near County Road 403 when he crossed the center line and hit Chance Garriott of Fulton head on. Garriott was traveling westbound and suffered serious injuries in the car accident. Both men were taken to University Hospital to be treated for their injuries.
