Three Men Ejected from Their Vehicle in Salisbury, MO

On Sunday, August 4, 2013, just after midnight, three men in their twenties were traveling east on Route PP near Salisbury, Missouri in an SUV when they ran off the road, hit a culvert and overturned. According to the Missouri Highway Patrol , Scott Callighan and Casey Stundebeck of Salisbury and Kyle Fischer of New Cambria were not wearing seatbelts and were all ejected from the vehicle. Stundebeck was pronounced dead at the scene. Callighan and Fischer were airlifted to University Hospital. Reports have stated that Callighan suffered serious injuries and Fischer had moderate injuries. It is unknown who was driving the SUV at the time of the crash.

The Sumner Law Group, LLC would like to express our deepest sympathies to the families of these young men. It is unfortunate that these young men were injured and one killed. This tragedy also brings to light the importance of wearing a seatbelt. It is possible that the injuries may have been far less if they had worn their seatbelts.
