More Drivers on the Road this Thanksgiving Means Increase in Car Accidents

It is estimated that 43 million people are expected to be on the roads this Thanksgiving holiday. According to the Missouri Department of Transportation, with millions on the highway, it increases the risk for accidents. The holidays always bring more drivers on the road which means more dangers. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, last year, Missouri had 1,300 accidents and four deaths over the Thanksgiving holiday.
